Instagrammers to follow: Preppy fashion and lifestyle

I'm a huge fan of Instagram and love looking at my feed for inspiration and happiness. There are so many interesting accounts with a whole range of topics and I thought I'd share some of my favourites with you.

Today I'll share some wonderful, preppy accounts with you that I love for their outfits and preppy lifestyle.

@sarahkjp

First of all Sarah Vickers from Classy Girls Wear Pearls. How could I not include her in this list. I love her style and think she is absolutely beautiful. I also live vicariously through her because she and her fiance Kiel just get up to so many cool adventures.

@carly

Carly is the lovely lady behind the blog The College Prepster which I have been reading for a long time now. I love her style and love following along with all the adventures that she, her boyfriend Garrett and her cute dog Teddy get up to.

I absolutely adore Whitleys Instagram feed because it is so colourful and stylish. I love that her outfits are super classic and wearable without being boring. The only problem is that I want all of her outfits for my own wardrobe now.

Robins feed is full of super preppy outfits and I like how she combines various pieces. She also has enviable hair which I always very much admire. (Damn you thin hair...)

 @summerwind41490

I love Sydneys account for her beautifully preppy and sophisticated outfits and lifestyle. I think she always looks incredibly classy and happy which is what draws me to her blog and Instagram account more often than I care to admit.

So there you have it. This list is by no means a complete list of all my favourite preppy and sophisticated Instagrammers but these are definitely the ones I browse most often.

Which are your favourites?

Kiel James Patrick Pieces I Love

I've been a big fan of the KJP products ever since I've come across Sarah Vickers blog
'Classy Girls Wear Pearls' a few years ago.

Over the years Sarah and her financé Kiel added more and more beautiful accessories and now even shirts and shoes to their collection. I really like the whole classy-New England- nautical theme and definitely want to add some of their pieces to my wardrobe soon.

Boden Wishlist May 2015

In recent months I've come to really love the Boden Clothing website. I don't exactly remember anymore how I came across it in the first place but I fell head over heels in love with the brand and haven't looked back since. I love how classic, yet stylish and fun all of their pieces are and find myself perusing the website way too often. One of the best features on the site is the 'Outfit Maker' which is super handy to create outfits and see how the different items look together.
Unfortunately it also makes me want to buy EVERYTHING and makes me long for an entirely new spring and summer wardrobe. For now though I made this wishlist of some of my favourite pieces, some of which I will definitely add to my wardrobe soon.

What do you think about Boden? Have you tried the Outfit Maker yet? Believe me it's great :-)

Have a nice day

Currently on my wishlist #3 | Autumn Edition

1. Riding Boots

I've been on the hunt for some nice leather riding boots for ages now but I find it incredibly difficult to find some that I like and that are at least halfway affordable. I very much like these Tory Burch ones but they are more on the pricey side and also hard to get hold of in Germany. But I will definitely keep an eye out for the perfect pair.

2. Longchamp Le Pliage Bag

Although everyone and their mother seem to own one of those these days I still want one because I like that it goes with so many different outfits and that it fits all my stuff.

3. Barbour Jacket

In my book Barbour Jackets are the epitome of autumn and I can see myself wearing one for a nice autumnal walk in the country as well as running errands in town. I like how they look somewhat "put together" and classic while being very functional aswell. (oh how I dislike getting wet)
One of these jackets will definitely end up in my wardrobe one day.

4. Checked Skirts

I don't know what it is but I love checked skirts (well checked everything really ;-)). Maybe that's because schooluniforms are very uncommon in Germany and I feel like I missed out on that.
(although I'm aware that people who were obliged to wear them don't share that feeling)
This season I will definitely invest in a skirt like the one above to wear with some thick black tights and boots. I can't wait!

5. Cable Knit Jumper

I'm a big lover of cable knit jumpers, particularly those with a crew neck. I already own a few but I still miss a nice bright red one in my collection.

6. Jo Malone Earl Grey & Cucumber Cologne

I love Jo Malone products and now have my eye on their Earl Grey & Cucumber Cologne which I heard and read loads of great things about. Next time I get the chance I will definitely give it a good sniff and probably buy it aswell ;-)

7. Joules Wellington Boots

How adorable are these wellies! I haven't owned a pair of wellies since I was a child but when I saw these I wanted them immediately. I love the fun print and I can picture myself wearing them on a nice walk (together with my Barbour jacket hehe). They are quite affordable too which is always a plus in my book.

What's on your wishlist this autumn?

New in: Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC

I've finally done it! After lusting over the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac for almost a year now I finally treated myself to it and made it a christmas present to myself.
I had been looking for a good quality crossbody bag for some time and when I came across this one I immediately wanted one for myself. I decided to get it in the colour Taupe because I think that it fits with most of my outfits and can be dressed up aswell as down. I also wanted a colour that is wearable in all seasons so I wanted it to be neither too bright nor to dark.

I really like that the chain is adjustable which means that I can wear it across my body or as a shoulder bag like on the above picture. The leather is super soft which makes it feel very nice but at the same time makes it a bit delicate which is ok for me. The golden hardware is good quality too and I just love the black and blue lining.

Although it was quite an investment for me I'm sure I will get lots of use out of it for many years to come. :-)
You can get it from saksfifthavenue.com

Currently on my wishlist #2

1. Origins Starting Over Age-erasing eye cream with Mimosa

I've heard loads of good things about Origins products and since I'm in need of a good eye cream I really would like to add this to my daily skincare routine.

2. Dorothy Perkins Blue Lace Dress

I'm really into lacey dresses because I think they look so nice and elegant. I'm in love with the colour aswell and think it is the perfect dress for the festive season.

3. Elemis Balancing Lavender Toner

I came across this on youtube and I liked the look of it. I like that it is less harsh than other toners and would hopefully not irritate my sensitive and rather blemish prone skin. I'm definitely going to give it a try in the future.

4. H&M Jumper

In recent years I've really been liking H&Ms winter jumper collections. They are nice and fitted and keep me cosy and warm (there aren't many things that I dislike more than being cold ) and they also come at a reasonable price, so I'll definitely invest in some of these.

5. Jo Malone Perfume

For quite some time now I've been interested in the Jo Malone perfumes. I've seen loads of people feature them on their blogs or in perfume collection videos on youtube. I find the different scents and the possible combinations of them really enticing although I must say that I didn't get the chance to smell them yet due to the fact that Jo Malone products aren't that widely available in Germany.
I hope to buy one of their fresh scents next time I'm in London though :-)

What's on your wishlist that shortly before christmas? Do you own any of the things mentioned or have you tried any of the products?

Currently on my wishlist #1

1. J.Crew Quilted Tack Jacket:
I really love this classic jacket and would like to add it to my autumn wardrobe but the pricetag of 156€ means that it will probably stay on my wishlist for quite some time.

2. J.Crew Seville Wedge Espadrilles:
I've been looking for some wedges like these for ages. I love wedges as they are easy to walk in even on surfaces that are tricky for most heels (grass, cobblestone etc.) I like how they can look sporty as well as very elegant and feminine. But since they are J. Crew they might be slightly out of my price range at the moment.

3. Forever 21 Rosebud Cosmetic Case:
I think I don't need to say much about that do I ;-) I love my florals and love almost everything from Cath Kidston. This make up bag is a nice and reasonably priced alternative from Forever 21 and I really like it.

4. Macadamia Oil Boar Bristle Paddle Brush:
I first saw this in a youtube video and liked the look of it. I already own another brush from Macadamia Oil and I really want to get this one aswell.

5. Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave in Conditioner:
I've never tried anything of that brand before but this somehow caught my eye and might be just the right product to nourish my dry hair.

6. Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon- Peach on the beach:
I'm not much of a lipstick girl but this colour doesn't look to intimidating and loads of people are raving about this product.

What's on your wishlist at the moment?
